The people, the sights, the smells, the party!
The KEXP Summerfest in Kirkland 2018 was as much fun as we all imagined. Several thousand’s of people flocked to Kirkland’s premier music and arts festival located right on the shore’s of Lake Washington.The weekend hosted perfect weather to enjoy the fine foods, local beers, and wines all while being entertained with a great line up of artists, including: the Dusty 45’s, Creme Tangerine, Strong Suit, Black Nite Crash, Soft Science, Hair Nation,and many more.The KEXP Summerfest was a great social and interactive event to attend. If you missed out on the fun, Summerfest is not the only event KEXP will hold this season. KEXP has came together with Seattle Center to host Free Concerts at the Mural every Friday in August. Coming up next will be August 24th, featuring notable acts such as The Moondoggies, The Black Tones, & Baywitch. Make sure to get there early if you plan on attending! Seating for Concerts at the Mural is on a first-come basis. Folding chairs and blankets are welcomed. Large coolers/ice chest, umbrellas, pets, video and audio recorders are not allowed. There will be a beer garden for people 21 years of age and older with a valid ID, and Seattle Center Armory food merchants will be open for food and drink.
Happy Hour is from 5:00 to 6:00 PM
